A native of Walnut Creek, Veronica inherited her father’s love of architecture and her mother’s eye for design. Veronica started working at Stonewood Kitchen & Bath as an intern in 2015. At Stonewood, she has added to her knowledge of building codes with extensive experience in cabinetry and materials. As a Designer, Veronica takes a lead role in design projects and working closely with clients. When she’s not in the showroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband, dog and new baby.
Melissa Worthy, Designer
As a designer at Stonewood, Westlake Village, Melissa works with clients, helping them envision new spaces, and introduces them to the variety of amazing cabinets, finishes, floors, and countertops Stonewood has to offer. After visiting the house and taking measurements, Melissa then goes back to the office to transform her visions into beautiful designs. Melissa is an important part of the Stonewood creative team, working closely with clients, contractors and vendors to bring clients’ dreams to life. Melissa has lived in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake area for 30 years with her husband and two daughters; they are an avid boating family with a passion for Pitbull rescue.
Cessie Alhambra, Design Associate
A graduate of SF State’s interior design program, Cessie is passionate about bringing together creativity and the technical part of design. “I come from a dance background. I get a lot of my creativity from being a dancer. I also like working with the technical side of art. I love working on the computer, working with the software, and putting the creativity and the technical drawings together.” At Stonewood Walnut Creek, Cessie applies her twin passions to AutoCAD drawings and to the colors, textures and properties of Stonewood’s many design materials. When she’s not at work, Cessie spends her time hiking with her two dogs, and putting her dance skills to use in an occasional video shoot.
“My wife and I are still joyful with our brand new kitchen which was designed by Julie and her team. The level of service and professionalism, attention to detail, we received from her team was commendable. Julie more than delivered by listening, paying attention to our details and attending to all that she promised us to do. We will always recommend her to anyone who needs the same services.”
