Easy Like Sunday Morning
There’s no beauty quite like beauty you can use. We transformed this cramped older bathroom with a combination tub/shower into a roomy spa-like space with accessible features, including a curbless walk-in shower level with the floor and a freestanding vanity with room for seating. Wood-look porcelain floors create a classic look with timeless durability.
Reclaimed Space
Sometimes the space you need is right there all along. We removed the tub, moved the toilet, and moved a wall to make space for the large, walk-in shower. To create more space for towels, toiletries and other bathroom storage needs, we opened up a hallway closet from behind and made it accessible from the bathroom as well.
Accessible Beauty
A linear drain at the back allowed us to make this walk-in shower curbless and to use a single flooring throughout the bathroom. A sturdy but elegant grip bar and a marble shower bench allow the owners to enjoy the shower as they age in place.
